City Center Properties (CCP), established in 1987 by Chris Frutkin, specializes in urban loft spacious apartments, condominiums and cool commercial space in Cincinnati, OH.     Chris Frutkin is a Cincinnati-based entrepreneur with a passion for revitalizing historic neighborhoods and preserving architectural heritage. As a graduate of Xavier University’s inaugural Entrepreneurial Studies program in 1989, Chris combines business acumen with a creative foundation from his studies in architecture at the University of Cincinnati.


    As the founder of City Center Properties, Chris has spent over 30 years transforming Cincinnati’s urban landscape. His company specializes in preserving National Trust properties and utilizing Historic Tax Credits to create vibrant spaces, including homes, offices, retail spaces, and entertainment venues. With a commitment to innovation, City Center Properties remains a leader in historic redevelopment and property management.


    Together with his wife, Jen Frutkin, Chris has been instrumental in reshaping neighborhoods like Over-the-Rhine. Their collaborative efforts, including political activism and corporate engagement, have driven key initiatives like converting Vine Street to two-way traffic and fostering positive community development.


    Chris’s dedication to preserving Cincinnati’s history while inspiring growth reflects his belief in the transformative power of community and innovation.

    In partnership with her husband, Chris Frutkin, Jen has been integral to the success of City Center Properties, spearheading projects that merge tradition with progress. Together, they have led efforts to revitalize neighborhoods like Over-the-Rhine, focusing on historic preservation, community engagement, and innovative redevelopment.
